Vernae Gallaread

Always enthusiastic to try new media, Vernae Gallaread is hesitant to choose a favorite, though recently she has gravitated toward textile art. Gallaread makes representational works, her bold line drawings and lush paintings usually depicting people. According to Gallaread, she prefers this subject matter “because I’m a people person”. When she is not making art in the Creativity Explored studio, she enjoys bowling and taking long walks around San Francisco.
