Imaginate YAY! : Where neurodiverse young adults (18-22) embark on a journey of arts exploration, mentorship, and professional development.
And it’s FREE!
Creativity Explored has been empowering artists with disabilities for over 40 years, changing the art world along the way— and now young adults get to be a part of our community at Imaginate YAY! while developing their own talent.
Join us every Saturday for a semester, exploring various art forms and building community.
Imaginate YAY! is a Saturday art program for neurodiverse young adults aged 18-22. Saturdays during the Spring school semester, students can create art using different materials, go on field trips to art places in San Francisco, and connect with others who share similar interests. The program runs for 3 hours each day.
Discover new mediums
Explore painting & drawing, ceramics, fiber arts, or digital media, all in a safe, inclusive environment. No art-making experience necessary!
Develop your skillset
Learn from experienced Teaching Artists and receive mentorship from the neurodiverse adult artists at Creativity Explored. Students create portfolios, learn curation skills, and participate in a culminating exhibition. The program includes museum visits and outdoor art activities to enhance community engagement and daily movement.
Showcase your talent
Wrap up your session with a bang as we celebrate your hard work and creativity in an epic exhibition of student projects. It's your time to shine!
Youth who attend 80% of sessions per semester receive $250!
