John Iwaszewicz

John Iwaszewicz is a highly detailed artist who works on each of his pieces for an extended amount of time, layering watercolors over finely-drawn landscapes, designs and maps.
Iwaszewics, a professional guitarist, draws upon his musical background to explore a harmony between visual and auditory modes as a driving force in finding his artistic voice and personal identity. The inspiring and life-giving power of art and music come together in his deeply personal body of work, unveiling more complexity as the viewer explores the details.

in 2019, Iwaszewics partnered with fellow artist Joseph “JD” Green, and curators Victor and Carlos Cartagena to create a unique and political body of work in Fragments + Resistance at the CE gallery.
