Join us for a free portrait-drawing workshop on Zoom with Blackiful artists

Led by the artists of Blackiful, a cohort of Black visual artists at CE, this 90 minute virtual workshop will introduce basic concepts in portrait drawing with a special focus on Black changemakers throughout history. Participants will explore how portraits and self-portraits can express the qualities of the person being drawn: how that individual looks, aspects of their personality, and what might be important to them. Come exercise your imagination and express yourself creatively this Black history month (and learn some techniques, too)!*
