David Li

David Li brings a quiet independence to Creativity Explored, coupled with a dash of adaptability and passion. “I like the things I like,” he says. David’s easy-going nature and kindness make him a delight to be around.
In the studio, David wields pencils, markers, and colored pencils with precision, crafting historical weapons and armor inspired by his favorite shows and movies. With ruler in hand and eraser at the ready, he hones his craft, transitioning from sketches in his sketchbook to meticulous, illustrative pieces that deconstruct fantasy worlds in to the elements that compose them: embellished swords and other weaponry, animal masks, cell phones.
Important to David is “delicious food and drink”; he also enjoys going to the movies with friends and family, and diving into fantasy realms (like that of Vox Machina), documentaries, and nostalgic shows. David works best in a spick and span studio, with a serene space to let his creativity flow and a pair of headphones to concentrate.
