Betty Benard
1935 - 2013 ∙ CE artist
Betty Benard created art in the Creativity Explored studio for 22 years. Quite versatile, she enjoyed working both figuratively and abstractly from memory or from her imagination. She came from a large family and often depicted family gatherings and houses overflowing with people. She also created striking collages, combining paint and origami paper. Benard exhibited frequently throughout the Bay Area and also had her work included in exhibitions in Japan.
